And instead of butter I used oil, and I only put in a teaspoon of sugar. If you follow the recipe as it is written (but subing in white rice for half of the brown rice flour) you get a brioche bread, which is nice, but for savory bread my alterations work better. Since it was traditionally one of the main staples in the mountainous regions of Italy, there are a lot of different ways of preparing it (mostly based on season).
